The Thanksgiving weekend came and went, but the events of Ferguson over the past few months have lingered.
Protests at the Macy’s Parade. Football players with their hands up at the St. Louis Rams game in the “hands up, don’t shoot” pose.
Protests at the malls in St. Louis, the highways of Washington, DC, and so on.
It doesn’t help that every time you turn on the TV, white experts sing the praises of the police officer, but every African-American expert that I see defends Michael Brown.
Can’t help but think a racially charged civil war is being foisted upon us, and I see this with the deepest regret. It is not something I want or wish.
