Usually here in Florida by this time of year, it starts getting cooler. The 90’s by day and 70’s by night usually turn into lower numbers for the winter time.
Something a tad odd has happened up until now: it hasn’t gotten cooler yet. In fact last week it was as warm in November as it has ever been in Tampa Bay in recorded weather history, with the temperatures going over 90, which is highly unusual for this time of the year weather wise.
In Florida, the warmer numbers as opposed to what the rest of the country gets this time of year can be deceiving, because here we also have humidity to deal with. A 50 degree morning with a 60-70 percent humidity can make you shiver if unprotected. It hasn’t snowed in Tampa Bay since 1977, so there’s one saving grace.
The good news is cooler weather appears on the way for this coming weekend. Can’t wait for it.
